Dick was a graduate of Eastern High School. He completed an Apprenticeship at General Motors as a metal model maker (toolmaker) in August of 1976. Dick was an avid pool player and loved each and every one of his cats.
Dick is survived by his wife of 51 years, Ruth Ann (Jacobs) Gingrich; brother, David (Monica); brothers-in-law, Michael (Shelley) and Francis (Carolyn); best friend, Mike Thelen; cousins, Ann, Phil and Carol, Paul and Kristine, John and Suzette, Deborah, and Alice; as well as, numerous nieces and nephews, including great nieces and great nephews.
