Born December 12, 1945 in Brisbane, Australia, to Robert E. and May Ann (Pritchard) DeMond, passed away at home on August 15, 2011 at the age of 65. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Mark DeMond; one sister, Moureen DeMond. Surviving are his beloved wife of 44 years, Betty; one daughter, Janie Cao (Ron); two sons, Bob DeMond and Steven DeMond; 4 grandchildren, Kamin, Angelica, Dominant and Roemen; one brother, Bruce DeMond and sisters, Wendy DeMond Sieler, Mollie Whalen and Sallie Gust. Robert was a self employed mechanic; he enjoyed fishing and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 18, 2011 at Deepdale Memorial Gardens in Lansing.
