Robert passed away on August 31, 2011. He was born on September 8, 1923 to Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Harshey in Eaton Rapids, MI. He is survived by his wife, Leah; two sons, Robert James (Nikki Hansen) Harshey and Michael Ernest (Merry) Harshey; granddaughter, Carrie Marie Harshey; step-grandchildren, Rachel McClain, Randy Marsden, Ryan Hansen, Rory Hansen, and Renae Case; and great-grandchildren, Andrew, Rosie, Neva, Caden, Gabe, and Braedon. Bob enjoyed working with his computer, hunting, and was always telling a good joke. He spent many years at Lansing Drop Forge as controller, and retired as Senior Vice President at First National Acceptance Corp. He was a WWII veteran of the European and Pacific Theaters ? 86th Blackhawk Division. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 2, 2011 at Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw St., Lansing with Pastor James Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one?s choice. The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home.
