

"Bob"
of Lansing Township, MichiganBob was born Thanksgiving Day, November 29, 1917, to Ida and William Jenkins in
Minneapolis, MN and passed away January 31st at the age of 91 in Clearwater, FL.
Bob was a WWII veteran having served in the US Army as a decoder. He retired from Michigan Bell after 39 years.. He was very active with the Y=s Men Service Club of the YMCA where he held many offices at the local and state level. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church for over 50 years. He also volunteered for many organizations.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Lois and daughter, Linda (Thomas) Towsley and son, Robert M (Sherri) Jenkins both of Windsor Township. Also surviving are grandchildren Denise(Dennis) Kelley, Keri (Matt) Keck, Michelle Jenkins, Allen Towsley and Michael(Crystal) Jenkins and great grandchildren Alex, Noah and Ella Keck and Austin Jenkins. Also surviving are sisters Ruth Bosscher of Grand Rapids and Mildred Smith of Jenison and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 11 AM until 1 PM with a memorial service following at Tiffany Funeral Home 3232 W Saginaw on Saturday, February 7th at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Open Arms Camp Scholarship Fund
