Robert William Pierson, born February 19, 1944 in Lansing, the son of the late Robert L. and Virginia Pierson, passed away on August 22, 2017 at the age of 73. Robert loved hunting and fishing with his buddies. He loved telling jokes and was loved by everyone that knew him. He was a data processing manager. He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marion and Eileen. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 55 years, Judi; son, Kyle (Paula) Pierson; brother, Michael Pierson; sister, Donna (Gary) Blanchard, and granddaughter in our heart, Callan and “dad 2” to the Rinkey kids.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 27 and also from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 28 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI. There will be a private interment held.
