Stanley Edwin Harr

Stanley Harr was born January 4, 1936 and died November 24, 2020. He is survived by his beloved wife, Laura; sons, Aaron Harr, Brian (Sandra) Harr, and Kris (Janet) Harr; daughter, Monique Reil; brother, Leon (Sue) Harr; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter Harr; mother, Viola (Thelen) Harr; sisters, Jeanette Feldpausch, Wilma Falor, Thelma Stump, Phyllis Klein, and Marie McMillian; brother, Eugene Harr; one stepson and one great-granddaughter.

Stanley attended Fowler High School, followed by serving our country in the US Army, including time stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Upon discharge, like many, he returned to GM where he retired after forty-three years.

Stanley enjoyed watching sports, especially the Red Wings. His biggest pleasure in life came from caring for his wife, Laura, and his children. They were truly the reason for his being. He enjoyed the light they brought into his world. He will be immensely missed by all.

A private funeral service will be held at Tiffany Funeral Home, followed by the Rite of Committal in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
