

Stephen (Steve), 83, passed away on December 26, 2025. Born on December 22, 1942 to Ray VanNortwick and Susie J. VanNortwick. Steve lived a dynamic life as a cook, a private investigator and served in the Marine Corp where he received a Purple Heart for an injury sustained during a tour in Vietnam. He was a dedicated husband and father, providing for his family as a semi driver for Schaefer’s Bakery (Aunt Millie’s). Steve enjoyed watching Nascar, drag racing and Detroit Lions football He was known for his quick wit, thoughtfulness and wisdom. Steve was a wonderful husband and father.
Deborah (Deb), 73, followed her beloved spouse on April 20, 2026. Born on April 5, 1953 to Charles Long and Beverly Long. A homemaker, she loved reading, crocheting, knitting, gardening, her Faith and watching the animals as they enjoy her tranquil yard. Deb was admired for her kind, loving, witty and thoughtful nature. Deb was and incredible wife and mother.
Married for 52 years, they were rarely seen apart. They enjoyed riding their Harley Davidson motorcycle, having fun at the casino and traveling to Florida.
Preceded in death by Ray VanNortwick, Susie VanNortwick, Charles Long, Beverly Long and granddaughter Laycee Grace Johnson.
They are survived by loving their daughters Brandy Kaye Calderin and April Nicole McCoy. Their grandchildren, James Gage McCoy, Brandon Joe Stump, Cameron James Stump, Paige Lenae McCoy.
Siblings, Jeff VanNortwick, Cleo VanNortwick, Brenda Hayes, Luann Long, Earl Long, Tim Long and Rick Long.
And extended family that will miss them dearly.
