Steve O'Connor

Steven A. O’Connor, age 54, was born April 13, 1957 in Lansing, MI to Archie and Dorothy (Celentino) O’Connor and died October 23, 2011. Steven was a Napa Auto Parts Driver and self-employed musician in his own band, DC-3 and booking agent. He played in the worship team at church. A devout Christian, he loved to tell others about Jesus. Loved by all, he was especially fond of his family and pets and was considered to be one of the most optimistic people around. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie, and is survived by his wife, Patricia; his loving mother, Dorothy; 2 daughters, Shelley Caceres, Tricia (Eric) Barnes; 2 sons, Michael (Trisha) Barnes and Shawn Barnes; grandchildren, Suzanna (Branden) Pulver, Cynthia Dunham, Lauren Pardee, Larissa Caceres, Jacob Dunham, Vance Barnes, Sahareah Dunham and Anna Jo Barnes; one great grandchild Payton Pulver; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am, Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Trinity United Methodist Church, 7533 W. St. Joseph Hwy., Lansing, MI. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 26th from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing, MI and one hour prior at the church.
