T. Joe Brown

Thurman Joe Brown went to be with his beloved Saviour November 21,2021 after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He touched every life he came in contact with and was a shining testimony for his Lord. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by four children; Amy Brown Burgio, Bethany (Rob) Buffington, Christopher (Amie) Brown, and Casey (Nell) Brown and by many precious grandchildren and great-grandchildren (he was their Papa); his siblings, Janice Van Buren, Gary (Cindy) Brown, Rodney (Jean) Brown and many dear nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman and Alice Brown, his brother-in-law, Albert Van Buren and his son-in-law; Rob Burgio.
Joe was loved by all. He brought smiles and laughter to young and old alike. People were drawn to his warmth and joy. He loved antiques and travel but above all Joe loved the Lord and his family.
Arrangements are being handled by Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes Lansing Chapel. Visitation will be from 4 pm-7pm November 28th at Gorsline Runciman and 10:30 – 11:30 am November 29th prior to 11:30 am funeral service at South Church.
