Born November 23, 1922 in Dresden, Tennessee, the son of the late Thomas and Martha Montgomery passed away June 5, 2012 at the age of 89. Thomas served his country in the Navy during WWII and sailed on the aircraft carrier USS Hornet CV-12. He was preceded in death by his wife Harriet; and son Robert. Surviving to cherish his memory are daughters, Linda (George) Reynolds and Sharon Elizabeth (David) Waggoner; sons, Thomas (Rhonda) Montgomery, Jr. and Kenneth (Yvonne) Montgomery; 21 grandchildren; and 26 great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, June 8, 2012 at Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes, 900 E. Michigan Ave., Lansing, MI.
