Timothy Bruce Ross, born on February 19, 1949, in Lansing, Michigan, passed away on November 25, 2025, at the age of 76. A resident of Lansing, Michigan, Timothy was known for being gentle, kind-hearted, hard-working, generous, and wise.
He was the beloved father of Andrew (Tawny) Ross and Joshua Ross, and a proud grandpa to Austin, Dillon, Nathan, Jared, and Anthony. Timothy cherished his dear dog, Gizmo. He was a caring brother to Mike (the late Mary) Ross and Anne (Doug) Winkel, and a brother-in-law to Polly Ross and Rita Marsala, as well as survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his twin granddaughters, Kylie Sue and Keira Lynn; brothers, Phillip Ross, David Ross, and Jim Ross; and parents, Richard and Muriel (Chapman).
Timothy served honorably in the United States Marine Corps and was an avid supporter of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Detroit Pistons. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1975 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and also attended Ferris State University and Western Michigan University. He retired as an analyst from the State of Michigan.
Timothy loved being a grandpa and took great joy in attending all of his grandchildren's sporting events. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
