Virginia Bell

Virginia Bell Lansing Age 84, our loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was called peacefully home to the Lord on January, 1, 2013. Born October 1, 1928 in Dublin, Georgia, Virginia was a faithful and dedicated member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church, where she was a beloved member of the Mothers Board. Virginia attended New Jerusalem until her health prevented. Virginia leaves to cherish her memory seven children: Loretta Bell (Motley), Gwendolyn Bell (Smart), Ronald Nathaniel Bell, Paulette Bell (Pinckney), James Earl Bell, Julia Renell Bell, and LaMonte Anthony Bell; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-one great grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew Bell, Sr. and her son, Matthew Bell, Jr. Friends may visit Virginia from 12:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday in the Tiffany Funeral Home, 3232 W. Saginaw, Lansing. Family hour will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7th, at New Jerusalem Church, 1919 S. Pennsylvania Ave. Lansing. Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Charles Bicy officiating. Interment will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Westlawn Cemetery in Wayne, MI.
