

Wanda was born on January 22, 1934, in Beaverton, MI, to Charles Melvin Andrist and Mary Elizabeth Crumpacker. She moved to Lansing, MI, where she spent most of her adult life. Wanda married Michael Mullins on October 5, 1957, and together they built a life full of love and memories. She worked for Oldsmobile and was a devout parishioner of St. Gerard Catholic Church. Wanda was also a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, where she made lasting friendships.
Wanda is survived by her nephews, John (Ann) Symonds, Donald (Sandi) Symonds, Dale (Karolyn) Brewer, Randy Brewer, Gary (Karen) Brewer, Charles (Barbara) Andrist, Richard (Marietta) Andrist, David (Carol) Andrist; her niece, Tena Andrist; sister-in-laws, Barbara Andrist and Hope Mullins; and many great nieces, nephews, and special friends, including Barbra DeSander and Doris Welch. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Mullins; sisters, Betty Brewer and Jean Symonds; brother, James Andrist; nieces, Gail Shea and DiAnn Spiece; and nephew, Robert Andrist.
The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Independence Village of Grand Ledge for the exceptional care and compassion they showed Wanda in her final year.
A funeral service for Wanda will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 AM, with a one-hour prior visitation from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, at Gorsline Runciman Tiffany Chapel, 3232 W Saginaw St., Lansing, MI 48917.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Wanda's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD, 21741.
Wanda will be remembered for her optimism, compassion, and loving nature.
