Bible Verse: Psalms 95:1-3 "Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. 3 For the Lord is the great God, the great King above all gods."
Letter to Grandma: Grandma,
Thank you for all that you were to me, the lessons you taught, the time you spent, the love you gave, the visits, the long phone conversations, the visits, the vacations, and even the arguments but, especially the pride you took in being a Grandma.
Life without you is not the same. I wake up every morning and think of calling you. I can no longer do that so I will cherish the memories and even though you would drive me crazy at some point during our conversation with your famous saying, “Now, don’t get mad at me, but let me ask you something” just for me to say, No ma’am and we laugh because I knew you wanted to know somebody business LOL.
I would give anything to hear you say it now.
We didn’t always agree on things but, what we did agree on was the love between a Grandma and her first born granddaughter.
Grandma, I love you and miss you -Your Big Girl
