Ann Dorothy Bodin

Ann was born April 30, 1934, in Tenafly, New Jersey, daughter of the late Harry W. Bradley and Evelyn D. Kissock. She graduated from Tenafly High School and went on to graduate from the distinguished Katharine Gibbs School in NYC. She married Robert (Bob) Bodin in 1955 and shortly after giving birth to their only child, Linda, moved from Queens, New York to Meriden, Connecticut and finally settled in Middletown in 1961.

Ann re-joined the workforce in the mid 1960’s making a career in the insurance industry. Starting out in Middletown and eventually working in Hartford. In her free time, she enjoyed boating with Bob, as well as many craft and volunteer activities. After retiring in the mid 90’s Ann, along with Bob moved to Port Charlotte, Florida. There they continued to maintain a healthy and happy life balance with family and friends.

Ann loved planning parties and get-togethers on land and at sea and never tired from having fun. She has left in her wake a multitude of lifelong friends.

She is predeceased by her husband, Bob, of 51 years, as well as, her brothers Harry Jr. and Richard, and her sisters Mary Elizabeth (Biddy) Halien and Ellen.

She is survived by her daughter Linda, grand-daughter, Meghan, great-grandson, Devin, and nephew, Richard, and his wife Diana, as well as many other dear nieces and nephews, treasured cousins and close friends.

A funeral service for Ann will be held Sunday, October 15, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774.
