Ann S. Colman, 100 years old, passed away on December 15, 2015. She was born in Chicago, IL on July 24, 1915 to William Schwatal and Marie Peterka Schwatal. She was predeceased by husband, Ralph L. Colman, who was born in Inman, Nebraska on April 10, 1910, and who passed away on July 03, 1983. They married when Ann was just 20 years old. They are both survived by daughter, Nancy Pilch, of Clearwater, FL; and grandson, David, of Chicago, IL. They moved to Florida in the mid-70’s, after Ralph retired as an inspector for the Electromotive Division of General Motors. During her younger years, Ann and Nancy enjoyed traveling to Europe and Ann was also interested in sewing and was an avid quilter. The funeral, officiated by Deacon Richard Brady, will be held at Serenity Funeral Home in the Founder’s Suite, on Monday, December 21, 2015 at 11am, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will take place at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park. Serenity Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
