I had the pleasure of working with Arlinda for many years in the Juvenile section in the Clerk's Office. She was always so dedicated to her work and wanted to make sure everything was exactly correct before saying it was done. Arlinda was very thoughtful always calling to make sure her co-workers and friends were OK if she hadn't heard from them in a while. I send thoughts and prayers to her husband and son.

Dear family of Miss Arlinda,

I’m so sorry for your loss. My mother, Tess Jackson, was a good friend of Miss Arlinda, so I met her quite a few times. I remember her having a sharp wit and sense of humor, even in her later years. I pray she’s in a better place.

We met Arlinda and her family at church.  I remember her friendly smile and warmth towards our family from the beginning.  She would greet us and sincerely want to know how we were doing.  

I remember one time she complimented our children and made a point to tell me how well behaved they were and she concluded that my wife was doing a great job teaching them.  I tested her and asked, "I don't get any credit for teaching them?" And she playfully replied "In this case, No!"  And we both laughed.  

I also recall how kind she was to my parents.  She would often be intentional in being friendly to them and starting conversations with them.   From our view, her faithfulness in Christ was reflected in how she brought light to others. 

We are saddened by her passing but we also know she is with the Lord and we will one day meet again.

My thoughts and prayers for Arlinda's family.
She was a joyous person who blessed every person who entered her life. I met her while working at the Talking Book Library in Clearwater.  She was a member of Lighthouse's Alumni group and that is when I met her around 2015. She was a member of our book club, and we met in person with about 15 other book club members. We spoke on the phone a lot. She would order books and at Christmas time order us pizza as a thank you! I will definitely miss talking to her. I won't forget her voice. She will be missed.

We were heartbroken to hear of the passing of our dear customer and friend, Arlinda. Every weekend she would call to place her family’s order, and without fail, she always took a moment to ask how we were doing and how our week had been. She had such a kind and caring way about her that brightened our days. Arlinda often surprised the office with the sweetest pears and they were always as lovely as she was. She wasn’t just a customer to us; she became part of our Mazzaro’s family. We will miss her calls, her laughter, and the warmth she brought with every conversation. Our hearts go out to her husband, her son, and all who loved her. She’ll always hold a special place here at the market and in our hearts.

I had not seen pictures of Arlinda in her younger days, so I was glad that her son David, Jr., had put them into his obituary for his mother.  She will love this collection of memories created by her beloved son.  I did.  Arlinda was a beautiful young lady and she and her husband were an attractive couple together.   Internally, she had a beautiful soul.  We didn’t meet until she began work at the Juvenile Clerk’s Office. I think she was about 50.  I was a couple years younger.   I instantly liked her as a person and a co-worker.  Her work ethics were admirable.  We became friends.  We had lunch dates after she had left work.  Her positive determination to continue to enjoy life with a smile while her body didn’t cooperate and continuously caused her so much pain was unbelievable to me.   When we talked on the phone, she was always upbeat and asked about my life and how I was doing.  I would ask about hers and she would casually say, “Oh, all right” and then change the subject, not wanting to complain, I guess.  She was strong - had such strong willpower.  Our calls eventually became almost as good as our lunch dates had been.  I often had asked myself whether I could have coped with a body who was against me…  I don’t think so.  I wouldn’t have been anywhere near the strong, positive and loving person that she had been throughout it all.    I determined that she had her faith, her loving husband and her devoted son as well as many true friends that helped her cope, but I believe that mostly it was her faith and her internal strength of character that kept her going through her years of declining health.  
May God take good care of her beautiful soul and may God help her family through their grieving days without her.  RIP, my friend Arlinda.

Dear Uncle David and cousin Jun,

I was heartbroken to hear about Aunt Linda's passing. Please know that my thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time. She was such a wonderful person, and I know how much she meant to you.

I can’t imagine the pain you must be feeling, but I hope you find comfort in the love and memories you shared. Our thoughts and prayers go for you, free to keep in touch.
