Brenda Cormier

heaven on July 15 2017. She Had had a 9 year long battle

with cancer. She was 61 years young. She was lovingly known

as Aunt B by most children, Mamaw by her grand kids and sis

and momma. She was born November 6th 1955 in Bristol

Tennessee to her parents Preston and Lorita Owens. She

lived in Bristol Tn. and Charlotte N.C. before moving to

Clearwater Florida where she worked as a bus driver for

neighborly senior citizen services. She moved to Inverness

Florida in Citrus county to escape the traffic and because she

loved the country. She was a country gal at heart. She worked

for a short time at Walmart before becoming a bus driver for

Citrus County Transit. She loved to spend time with family,

work in her yard and listen to music of all kinds. Her favorite

times were spent playing and snuggling with her

grandchildren. Brenda was an awesome cook, she ran a

kitchen like only Aunt B could. Brenda was survived by her

mother, Lorita Whitley of Clearwater, FL, children Dustin

Cormier and Heather Itnyre. Sister and Brother in-law

Debbie and Keith Cook of Citrus County, FL, Stepbrother

Thomas Whitley, Stepsisters Julie Gilmore, Barbara Soluri

And Diane Davis, Aunts Velma Morrell , Lois Carrier, Uncles

Allen, Doug, David , Darrell and Dayton Stidham and

Douglas Owens Grandchildren Mya, Zoey, Zander Itnyre,

Thomas, Ava and Dustin Jr., Chance McCarthy and Izzy

Moreno. Niece Cortney Carmichael, Nephews Jason and

wife Jennifer Austin and Jeremy and wife Melinda Cook.

Great Niece Taylor Breezy and Liberty Austin, Elexis

Carmichael and Jazzy Cook Great Nephew Blaze Austin and

William Cook Great Great Niece Aleena Royce and Great

Great Nephew Levi Austin, she also had countless cousins.

Brenda was proceeded in death by her Father Preston Owens

and Step Father Rusty Whitley, and Brother Gary Owens,

Uncles Garland, Harrold and Ed Stidham.Brenda always had

a smile on her face and warmth in her heart for all around her.

She received her degree in Redneckary , from Possum Holler

University at a young age and she graduated well ahead of her

Class and considered herself a proud Alumni.

Memorial will be July 23rd 2017 at Serenity Memorial

Gardens in Largo, FL Viewing will be from 12-2 pm followed

by her service.
