Catherine M.“Kitty” Fitzgerald, passed away on Thursday, July 15th, 2010 at the age 72 years, following a long illness. She was a long time resident of Largo, Florida. Daughter of the late Nora and Michael Dillane. Beloved wife of Tom Fitzgerald. Loving mother of Michael, Patrick, Thomas, Edward and John. Cherished grandmother of Marianne, Mary Lynn, Lily, Aiden, Miles and Holden. Sister of Theresa Gallagher, Marianne Daly,Tony Dillane, Joe Dillane, Michael Dillane, Dave Dillane & many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Kitty always enjoyed being part of St.Patrick’s community and most of all loved helping others and volunteering. Kitty loved her family, friends & Irish heritage but most of all loved her rosary and devotion to the Virgin Mary. She will missed but never forgotten.
Family will receive friends Monday, 5-8 pm at the funeral home chapel. There will be a Funeral Mass Tuesday, 10:30 am at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1507 Trotter Road SW, Largo, FL 33774. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
