Charlotte grew up in North Jackson and as a teenager worked at Isley's restaurant while she attended Jackson Milton High School. She then served her community by assisting in the office of the Hofmeister Memorial Funeral Home. Charlotte married her life love, David Victor Hanna, on June 26th, 1954. Together they had two sons, Brian David Hanna and Keith Albert Hanna. Charlotte dedicated her life to her family, lived her passion for attending dance club with David, and enjoyed playing bridge and other card games. Charlotte also served on the Board of Directors for the YWCA while she and her family lived in Middleburg Heights, Ohio.
Charlotte is survived by son Brian David Hanna (Deborah) of Maineville, Ohio, son Keith Albert Hanna (Tonne) of Greendale, Indiana and granddaughter Kira Elizabeth Hanna.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband David Victor Hanna; mother Hazel Rhodes Handwork and father Robert E. Handwork; brother Lester Handwork, brother Warren Handwork, brother Robert G. Handwork, and sister Florence Horgan.
