Born in Washington, DC to Stuart Arthur Weiss and Jean Adelyn (Dunham) Weiss on May 6, 1951. Christopher graduated from The University of Rochester in 1973 and The University of Pittsburgh Medical School in 1977. After completing residency and fellowships in general surgery and surgical oncology at Columbia University NY, Boston City and the National Cancer Institute, Christopher practiced in St Petersburg, FL., Stafford Springs, Ct, Plant City, FL and Phoenixville PA.
Christopher loved life. He enjoyed boating, fishing, skiing, photography, cooking and music.
Christopher is survived by his wife, Mary Deary-Weiss, brother, Jonathan Weiss, numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews and his best friend “Coco”. He will be missed.
Visitation hours will be Monday, November 14th from 5PM – 8 PM at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Rd, Largo, Fl. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Angel Flight New England or the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
