To Frank, Karen, Mitti and Patti,

My wife Norma and I are so sad to hear of your loss with David (known to us when child cousins as "Babe"). We really just discovered the news today, March 20,2013. 

How so many years have passed is surprising, but I believe we did have some great times visiting especially at "Pap" and Grandma's house.

I cherish those memories and alsways will. Our thoughts are with you and your family. 
Rest in peace David (Babe). We will always miss you.

Oh my gosh David Johnny B. left us August 13th. Hopefully you two are together right now having an ice cold beer. Just like you brother we did not see it coming. Gone in an instant. Unbelievable same age as you when you left us and in his bedroom. I am so lost right now Dave. None of this seems real. Sometimes I feel like JB is still with me and other times so far away. You both said I would be the last one standing between the three of us and here we are. Why? My heart is breaking for Tim and Corey. It is not fair Brian should have had you his father longer and so should have Tim and Corey. I don't understand any of this. They say God does not give you anymore then you can handle but I can't do this anymore. Watch one by one as the people I love the most in this world taken away from me. Please let me know you are with Johnny. I love and miss you both so much. I will be back later to talk.

Hey Brother,
I know it has been awhile since I have been here to talk, but it is so hard knowing your not here anymore. I miss you so much.  I speak to you everyday and I have to believe that you hear me. I still rely on you. You were and still are who I lean on along with Tim. I will always need you brother. I know you still have my back. I thank God for having you as my brother. You were such a good brother. I was very lucky to have a brother who was also a friend. I cherish the bond we had. Craig Morris( who you always said was like a brother to you) is also up there with you now. I bet you, Stephen, Craig, Paul and even Dad are all up there playing cards. I can just picture that and when it is my time to join you I will be sitting right next to you at the table. It is hard going on with life without you, Steve, Mom, Dad, and Maverick not being here. I know I must continue the rest of my journey here without you, but my heart breaks everyday for all of you. David, please give me a sign that you and mom are ok. I believe dad and Stephen are cause they came back to me in dreams to let me know that. I haven't heard from you or mom and that saddens me more. So if you can please come to me in a dream and let me know that your both ok and that Maverick is with you. I am going to close for now.I love you David.

Hi Dave,
I know it has been awhile since I have been here. I think about you all of the time.  Miss you so much my heart aches. I still can't believe your not here with me anymore. Just wanted to let you know Brett dedicated the 2011 football season in honor and memory of you. This will be the first year you were not in the pool. Never thought there would be a time you were not in the pool with me. I am also keeping your's and Maverick's memory alive by putting you both in survivor. Football season will never be the same without "BOATS". I talk and pray to you all of the time. I hope you hear me. I love you brother and remember there is not a day that goes by that you are not in my heart, memories, and thoughts. I will be back later. Until then as always rest in peace my beloved brother!

Hi Dave,
Can't believe your 62 birthday was this past Sunday. Very sad day for me. Hope you heard my happy birthday to you. I remember you just telling me last year that on all the holidays and your birthday you could always count on getting a card from me. I also have all of the ones you saved that I sent you. Hi Dave,
I am so glad I have this place to come and talk to you. You won the trophy this year and once I receive it Tim, JR and I am going to go to Bushnell and take a picture of it at your final resting place. Congratulations brother. Your buddy Clete is not doing well. We are all there for him just as you would want us to be. I miss and love you so much. Till next time brother. Rest in Peace!

Dear Brother,
2010 is coming to an end and I will be continuing my journey here without you. Christmas was not the same this year. A very sad day for me especially when I was making your favorite deviled eggs. I miss you so much brother. I still can't believe you are gone. We both knew we would have each others back forever and I will continue your fight. I have to believe you are with mom, dad, Steve, Maverick (or as you use to call him Mavdadder) and all of our other loved ones who have passed on and one day I will be with all of you. Please give me some kind of sign you are with them. I need to know you are ok. I love you David. You were the best brother ever. You will be forever in my thoughts and heart. Until we meet again rest peacefully.

My deepest sympathy goes out to Mitti and the entire McCroskey family for thier loss. Dave was truly an American Hero and and I always looked up to him for that. I met Dave soon after he moved to California and became good friends and coworkers. Always very loyal and there for me if I needed anything. My roomate in Buena Park for nine years and always had a joke and a lot of laughs when I got home. He will be truly missed. Rest in peace in heaven my friend.

My Dear David you are now at your final resting place. I hope I did you proud brother.  You were an American Hero and you deserved the best. To My Brother and my best friend. David you weren't suppose to leave me yet. We talked many times about who would be the first to go and I told you I didn't want to be the first one and you use to always say that I would be the last one standing. You were right brother and here I sit without my dear sweet brother who always had my back no matter what. You were always there for me Dave. I do not know what I am going to do without you. My heart is breaking. I am trying so hard to be strong for you cause I know how you hated to see me sad and cry. You were a true American Hero but most of all you were my hero. I am very honored to be your sister and very blessed to have you as a brother. I am trying to do you proud by giving you the farewell you so deserved with honor,respect and dignity.You are now with mom, dad, brother Steve and you couldn't be in the arms of any better people. I know they will take good care of you until we meet again and I know when it is my time you will be waiting for me with open arms just as you always did when you were here.
