Doris Alice Plante

Doris A. Plante, 91, of Largo, FL passed away peacefully in her home Friday May 1st, 2020. Doris was born June 6th, 1928 in Winchester, MA and grew up in Manchester, NH. She moved to sunny Florida in the 1970’s after her husband retired from 32 years in the Army.

She was preceded in death by her husband Henry to whom she was married for 57 years, and youngest son Raymond. She is survived by a brother Ray and a sister Irene; 3 sons; Leo, Roger and Gerard, 1 daughter Denise as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Doris enjoyed reading and traveling with Henry across the country in their motor home to visit family, friends and sight see.

Private family funeral services will be held at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
