

Drucilla E. Bell, 60 of Largo, FL passed away peacefully on Thursday May 26, 2011 in Largo Medical Center. Dru was born in Newark, Ohio and moved to this area in 1957 from Newark. She graduated from Largo High School, received her B.A. in 1972 at the University of South Florida, New College Campus on Public Policy Administration, her J.D. in 1975 from Florida State University, College of Law, Post graduate Courses at Florida State University in Russian Language and Russian Diplomatic History, Civil Law Notary in 1998 Course and Certification, admitted into the Supreme Court of the United States in 2006 with her list of accomplishments going on and on. Dru loved to travel. She started her travels in 1984 going to Moscow, Leningrad and Volgograd, Russia and Odessa and Kiev, Ukraine (USSR) for three-week tour group on friendship mission, became fascinated with culture, language and need for free enterprise. Throughout her life her international experience has taken her all over the world. Dru was a member of the International Forum of Tourism and Travel Advocates (IFTTA) and a past president of the Pinellas County Women Lawyers Association. Dru leaves behind her loving husband Joseph E. Slavin of Largo, FL and a brother Rodney A. Bell of Largo, FL along with aunts and uncles and many cousins. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends are calling on Thursday June 2, 2011 from 6 pm to 8 pm at the Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774 727-562-2080. Funeral Services then on Friday June 3, 2011 at 10 am at St, Patrick Catholic Church, 1507 Trotter Road, Largo, FL 33770 727-584-2318.
