MCCARTHY, Elaine L, 81 of Largo passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 24, 2017 in Largo. Elaine was born on September 1, 1935 in Cross Plains, Indiana to the late Harlon & Mary E (Pelsor) Knudson. She moved to this area in 1961 from Cincinnati, Ohio. Elaine retired from Honeywell after 33 years of service. She was a member of St Paul United Methodist church of Largo. Elaine was predeceased by her loving husband Edwin in 2014. She is survived by three brothers H. Jerome (Harriet) Knudson of Dayton, OH, Delbert (Arlene) Knudson & Norman (Pina) Knudson both of Holton, IN, a sister Daphne (Rex) Heiny of Pekin, IN along with several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be offered to St Paul United Methodist Church, 1199 South Highland Avenue, Largo, FL 33770. Private family services will be held at a later date.
