Barber, Florence A. , 91 of Bellaire died Sunday June 17th at Morton Plant Hospital, Clearwater. Born Sept. 12, 1920 in Detroit Michigan she was the daughter of Arthur and Rose Zimmerman Alve. Florence was a home maker and a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church, Largo. She was active in the Grosse Pointe Symphony in Grosse Pointe, Michigan and a former member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Detroit. She married her husband of 56 years the late Elmer L. Barber; he died Jan 13, 2000. Florence is survived by her son Rev. Alan (Diane) Barber of Greencastle, Indiana, two grandsons David (Jayme) Barber and Jonathan (Melisa) Barber, two great grandchildren Kevin and Kaitlyn Barber. A funeral service will be 2pm Wednesday June 20th at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Largo. Friends and family may call Wednesday 1-2pm at the church before the service. Burial will be in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park-13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo Florida 33774.
