Francis "Frank" Kainec

Frank was born on December 22, 1946, to the late Frances and Paul Kainec in Cleveland, OH. Frank graduated from Bedford Heights High School in 1965.

Frank moved to Florida with his job at Ametek in 1982. He worked for Ametek for 32 1/2 years until he retired.

Frank married his soul mate Barbara on July 3rd, 1971, and they were married for 54 years. Frank and Barbara went on to have two children, Paul and Leslie and his only grandchild Ava.

Frank cherished his family most in life. His pride and joy was his granddaughter. He retired early at the age of 62 spending time with and babysitting Ava. He enjoyed his retirement spending time with his family, yearly stays at the beach condo and spending time with his best friend. Frank bowled for many years in a league with his friends until he couldn’t bowl anymore. He also had a love for his fur babies and all his grand fur babies.

Frank was predeceased by his father Paul, his mother Frances, his sisters Rosemarie, Elinor, Kathy, and his brothers Bernie and Paul. He is survived by his wonderful wife of 54 years Barbara Kainec and daughter Leslie Robbins, son in law Michael Robbins, Son Paul Kainec, son in law Matt Sauers, and his beloved granddaughter Ava Robbins.

A visitation will be held on Friday November 14th from 6-8 at Serenity Funeral Home; 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Funeral Services will be held at St. Catherine of Siena; 1955 S Belcher Rd Clearwater, FL 33764 on November 15, 2025, at 10am followed by the gravesite at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park.

Later on, in the evening a Celebration of life will be held at 5pm at the American Legion at 7550 60th St. N. Pinellas Park, FL. Come prepared to celebrate Frank.
