Fred married his late wife, Mary Carr, on July 9, 1955. Together they enjoyed boating and fishing, going on cruises, entertaining, and regularly attending events at the Legion, Eagles, and Elks Clubs. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Minnesota where he was a past Master. In addition he was a member of the Scottish Rite and a Shriner.
Fred is survived by his daughter, Mary Cheney, and son, William Lockwood and daughter in law, Pam Lockwood. He also had another son, Bob Lockwood, who has passed away. He was a proud Pappow, Great Pappow, and Great Great Pappow to six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
A short graveside ceremony will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Serenity Gardens at noon.
