We will always remember Jim from the times Mark and he swam in the special olympics together. We are so sorry to hear of his passing and will always remember him with happy times he and Mark had together. We will miss you.

James "Jimmy" Ryan will be greatly missed. With his singing and rockin dance moves, he always brought a smile to my face and everyone around. His love for karaoke shined bright. Keep singing buddy.

 It was nice to have lunch with you, see you at swim meets, spend time at your pool and go bowling with you, Pat and my Mom, Sandy. You were my friend and I will miss you, James.

We will miss James so much here at the Countryside Recreation Center...everyone loved him here and he warmed the place with his great smile....

We were fortunate to have met James, working as a volunteer at the Countryside Recreation Center. My staff and I are truly saddened by the loss of James. James was a great person, full of happiness and had a heart made of gold. I'm glad that we had the opportunity to have James in our lives.

Pat and Family, I am sorry I missed your call about Jim's passing.  Jim was a very special guy and I always enjoyed the back and forth teasing we did.  My dad was a huge fan of Jim's and they had a special relationship. I know in my heart your parents, my dad and Jim and all together and we are missing out on some really good times.  Lose is hard and my prayers are with you all.

Pat, Dale and Jim were in the famous NISRA Program "Learn to Ride a Bike".  That was a very long time ago.  Eventually, after hard work, everyone in the program, thanks to a fantastic instructor, learned to ride their bike!  As a reward the bikers rode to the Crystal Lake Field House and had a treat.

   Hearing about the death of James reminded me how we all are like family even though we are not related.  Our fathers and mothers had much in common and we all suffered through S.S. Pat,  We were shocked to learn of James untimely death.
James had such promise and was so well liked that it seems hard to believe he is no longer with us.  His passing will be mourned by those of us who loved him so much.

James was alway one of my favorites.  Knowing him for 30 years was a pleasure, and watching him grow and progress was inspiring.  He touched the lives of so many and, in turn, made them more accepting of all special people.

Judy and family,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how special he was to you and your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.

Jim was a very special young man...he was always happy and never complained about anything. He was a very thoughtful and gentle young man who never appeared to have anything negative to say to anyone. He was always eager to help out with anything he could do. Jim will be missed very much by everyone,,,his teammates;as well as the adults whose lives have been touched by knowing him. Rest in Peace and know that we all loved you.
