Lon as you know, I had the pleasure of only one conversation with Jeanette however, through your sharing heart I was able to taste the sweet essence of her life.That taste is magnified by your friendship, I pray God's Perfect Peace over you and your family ...with love , J.D.

We are so glad, we had the chance to meet Jeannette and share laughs, movies, the aches and pains and the times of just sheer laughter and the cynical snippets
of politics. I know I can't call her or just leave an email message and I will miss that but just thinking she is just away, fills that hollow feeling....

Jeannette,  I thank God for putting us together.  You gave so much of yourself to me and me to you.  I loved you as I would my sister.   I miss you every day. Words alone will never expres the void that has been left by your passing. In life we tend too often to take for granted our loved ones that we are so blessed to have to begin with, and when tragedy claims a life we often look back and say that we wish that we had said more to tell them what they meant to us. In my case I was blessed and honoured to have that priveledge and tell her "I love you" and for me that is all that matters.

Jeannette made a lasting impression on my life. She was my stepmother and my friend. She taught me what was important in life, to be happy, to be loved, and to love. She always offered her support and encouragement telling me "to go for my dreams". The last memory of Jeannette I have is a note she wrote to her granddaughter, my daughter Yzabella, "I will probably never meet you, but I will always watch over you."

Farewell Jeannette. May your soul rest in eternal peace.

Jeannette was a complex lady, hard to describe in just a few words, but definitely spirited, beautiful--inside & out, very generous, & a wonderful, loyal friend. We will all miss her terribly! Lon, I know that you, especially, will miss her, but hope you can take some comfort in knowing that God could not have given her a more wonderful, supportive brother. You are in my thoughts & prayers.
