47, of Pinellas Park, passed away on December 25, 2017. Kelly was born in Berwyn, IL. She loved being with her family and dogs, watching the Tampa Bay Lightning, and listening to Cole Swindell. Kelly is survived by her loving family.
Kelly Kay has taught me not to take life too seriously. I remember when we were very young, we were vacationing in Florida and our visits always consisted of games, swimming and fishing and of course goofing off with K.K. On this particular visit she walked into the room with Grandma's bra on her head! The smile and laugh that came with her silly antics was contagious and of course we all joined in the laughter. She was never afraid to laugh at herself. That light heartedness carried on into her adult life. I will always remember not to take myself too seriously thanks to Kelly Kay!
~It’s hard when life changes on the turn of a dime,
~Suddenly we find ourselves wishes for more time,
~There’s no way to prepare for an eternal goodbye,
~It is special memories, on which we must rely,
~Monopoly marathons, skinny-dipping in the pool,
~Our aunt was more of a friend and we thought it was pretty cool,
~I remember making card houses for hours on end,
~Fishing off the pier as we watched the sun descend,
~Many years have passed since those memories were made,
~More than three decades and in my heart they’ve stayed,
~Memories are powerful, they keep our loved ones close,
~So everyday we’re blessed with, be sure to make the most,
~Grandma she carried the love you gave with her to her heavenly home,
~Reuniting with her sister and dad so she is not alone,
~Though she’s gone ahead of you, two children still remain,
~The memories you share of Kelly will pull you through the pain.
~Shannon Miller
These words bring me comfort and I hope they will for you.
My first Christmas in Heaven
~I see the countless Christmas trees around the World below,
~With tiny lights, like Heaven’s stars reflecting on the snow,
~The sight is so spectacular, please wipe away the tears,
~For I a spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year,
~I hear the many Christmas songs that people hold so dear,
~But the sounds of music can’t compare with the Christmas choir up here,
~I have no words to tell you, the joy their voices bring,
~For it is beyond description, to hear the angels sing,
~I know how much you miss me, I see the pain inside your heart,
~But I am not so far away, we really aren’t apart,
~So be happy for me dear ones, you know I hold you dear,
~And be glad I’m spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year,
~I sent you each a special gift, from my heavenly home above,
~I sent you each a memory of my undying love,
~After all, love is a gift more precious than pure gold,
~It was always most important in the stories Jesus told,
~Please love and keep each other, as my Father said to do,
~For I can’t count the blessings or love he has for each of you,
~So have a Merry Christmas and wipe away the tears,
~Remember I am spending Christmas with Jesus Christ this year.
