Ken was a die-hard football fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Tampa Bay Bucs. He was an avid golfer and was always proud of his handicap. He became a soccer referee in order to understand the game better and referred different levels for many years in Chattanooga. He loved going to Disney World. He and his wife of 39 years, Brenda, loved to cruise and made many lasting friendships during their travels. Ken enjoyed entertaining friends and serving his famous chili.
Ken is survived by his wife, Brenda, daughters Jennifer Shalkowski and her children, Chance, Isabella and Arianna and Ashley Harper (Krista) and their children Reaghan and Addison Ard and Duncan, Molly and Brady McCampbell. He is also survived by his Step-mother Mildred Butler.
A celebration of Ken’s life will be held at a later date.
