

LARAMEE, Loraine A, 83 of Largo died Thurs, 1/21/16. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Sat, 2/13/16 at 11am at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park. She will be remembered as a fun loving, ever giving and faithful wife and mother. She always thought of others before herself and had the ability to make others always feel better about themselves after being in a conversation with her. She had a wonderful positive outlook on life and was a great example of how life should be lived. She loved playing golf with her family, socializing with friends and playing cards. She loved to cook and garden. She was an avid golfer who won the Clearwater Club Championship in 1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Louis Laramee. She was born to Ward and Irene Page of Minneapolis, MN. on September 2nd 1932 She and her parents lived in St. Louis, Mo. for a short period of time before settling in Edina, MN. She performed as a swimmer in the Minneapolis Aquatennial and later toured with the group. She was married to Louis Laramee on June 24th 1955 at St. David's Episcopal Church in Minnetonka Mills, Mn. They held the first wedding ceremony at the church. They remained married for 50 years until Louis' death in 2006. Loraine and Lou lived in Wayzata Minnesota until 1971 when they moved to Mankato, Mn. They raised two boys, David Laramee (Largo, Fl.) and Michael Laramee (Owatonna, MN.) In 1984 they retired and moved to Largo Florida where she enjoyed the warm weather and warm friendship and love of many friends and family.
Loraine is survived by her sons David (Susan) and Michael (Lisa), and grandchildren Laura Demars (Michael), Larissa Beck (Jason), Angela Gilana (Joseph), Mary Ellen (Ben Kubes), Nicholas Krege (Shan Lyons), Michelle Mely (Adam) great grandchildren Ingrid, Joey, Eli, Irene, Aleda, and Arthur. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
