

Mae (Mabel) Victoria Wragg was born on December 17th, 1935 to Pauline and Gabriel Saba in Washington, D.C. and was brought up and raised in Lakewood, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland. Mae passed away on December 5th, 2019 at the age of 83 years old from health complications from pneumonia in the City of Dunedin, Florida.
Mae was a resident of Seminole since 1995 and before that she resided in Darien, Connecticut for 26 years.
Before leaving Cleveland in 1967, Mae was executive secretary to the Vice Chairman of the Board of The Halle Bros, Co., a leading department store in downtown Cleveland. Mae was also an active member of St. George Eastern Orthodox Church in Cleveland, OH.
While living in Darien, Mae worked at the law offices of the Connecticut Speaker of the House, she worked in New York City as an executive secretary to the CFO of Warner Communications, and was the executive store secretary at Saks Fifth Avenue in Stamford, CT. She was an active member of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, was a rape crisis counselor for many years having been chosen Rape Crisis Center of Stamford Volunteer of the Year in 1990 and was also a volunteer for several years with Meals on Wheels of Stamford.
Mae attended Cleveland State University and the University of Connecticut in Stamford CT.
Mae moved to Seminole, FL in 1995 undertaking the ownership of Seminole Lake Racquet and Swim Club. Following that Mae became a real estate agent joining Keller Williams Realty, Gulf Coast in 2003 located in Clearwater, FL. She was an avid tennis player and enjoyed the sport all the days of her life.
Mae is survived by her two adoring sons, Alan Thomas Wragg, Jr. of Westfield, NJ (wife Deborah, and darling grandsons Tyler, Dylan and Zachary) and Christian David Wragg of Boca Raton, Florida and former husband Alan T. Wragg of Darien, CT.
Mae is predeceased by her sister Gloria Knectl of Cleveland, OH and her brother Paul G. Saba of Largo, FL. She is survived by her sisters, Georgette Abookire of Lakewood, OH, Betty Ganim of Brecksville, OH, Norma Abdallah of Rocky River, OH, niece Cathie Abookire of Philadelphia, PA and nephew Sam Asher of Rocky River, OH, in addition to several nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
