Michael Patrick Briody age 70 of Queens NY and seasonal resident of Indian Rocks Beach FL passed away April 6, 2014 at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater FL. He was born and educated in Queens NY and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from New York Technical Institute. Michael served with the Nassau County Police Department for 31 years retiring in 1996 at the rank of sergeant. He enjoyed boating, and loved playing the french horn for the Nassau County Police Band. His greatest pleasure was to make people smile. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Kathleen (Iris) Briody, daughters; Denise Escobar and Lori Briody, and a sister Valerie Weber. A Memorial Service will take place in the New York area at a time and date to be announced. Funeral arrangements in Florida are under the care of Moss Feaster Funeral Home Serenity Gardens Chapel in Largo FL.
