Mildred Scott

Scott, Mildred M. “Mona” 80 of Clearwater died Thursday June 7th at Morton Plant Hospital. Born June 30 1931 in Boston, Massachusetts; she was the daughter of Charles and Mildred Ney Reddington. Mildred graduated from St. Gregory High School in Boston Massachusetts. She was a systems Programmer for New England Mutual Life Insurance Company in Boston. She moved to the area in 1996 and was a member of the Clearwater American Legion. She married her loving husband Walter “Scotty” Scott in 1985; he died June 18, 2005. Mildred is survived her step daughters Georgia North, Janice Linville, and Julan Scott, her niece Eileen Prive of Homosassa, FL., nephew George Kenney of Clearwater, Fl. and , sister Ann Kenney of Clearwater, great nephews Michael Prive Jr. and Marc Edward Prive, Michael Broccoli of North Carolina. She is pre deceased by her niece Diane Broccoli and great nephews Matthew Prive and Robert Thompson. A funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday June 12th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home-Serenity Gardens Chapel – 13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, Florida 33774. Friends and family may call 12 noon – 2pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
