He was preceded in death by his mother, father, his brother Talmadge, his brother Larry Joe and his loving wife of 32 years, Lora Jean (Jeanie) Riggsby.
He is survived by his son James (Christie), his son Daniel (Aimee), his brother Vernon Ray, his two grandchildren Nikolas and Savannah and numerous nieces and nephews and his loyal canine companion, Buddy.
Olen worked as a tool and die maker for over 40 years. He was an avid reader and loved taking care of his yard and dog. He has had 4 West Highland terriers since 1986.
He lived a wonderful life and will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service for Olen will be held Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at Serenity Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, FL 33774. Olen will be laid to rest at Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, with a reception to follow.
