Moen, Reuben N. 90 yrs old, of Mease Life Dunedin, FL, passed away Feb. 5, 2021. He was predeceased by his parents, Lt. Col. Reuben E. Moen & Nora Johnson Moen; Sister, Donna Terrones and Brothers, Wayne and Barton Moen.
He was born in LaCrosse, WI on April 28, 1930. Reuben graduated from UW-Madison and received a BS Degree in Chemistry and a MS Degree in Chemistry from Loyola University. He served in the US Army from 1953-55.
Reuben’s professional life included working as a chemist in the food and water treatment industries for Ovaltine, Mars Inc and at the Navy Pier water treatment plant in Chicago. He was a member of the local Prime Timers group and had a passion for trivia, photography, video making, and electronics. Being 95% Norwegian, he enjoyed several trips to Norway.
He is survived and well loved by his sisters, Lou Jane Warner of Beloit, WI and Marlene Koula of LaCrosse, WI and by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Reuben’s Life will be scheduled in Jacksonville, Fl. at a later date.
