CHAPPELL, Richard Lee, 79 of Largo, FL passed away on January 18, 2017. Richard was born on February 8, 1937 to the late Harry Lee & Ella (Kettery) Chappell in Greenfield, Indiana. He was married to his beloved wife Charlis Mildred (Nurse) Chappell for 48 years. She preceded him in death in 2014. Richard served his country honorably in the United States Air Force in the Civil Engineer Squad (ATC). Richard and his wife Charlis happily retired to Largo, Florida in 1994. He is survived by a son Scott Chappell, two grandchildren Tim (Tina) Chappell & Laura Chappell all of Anderson, IN and two great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
