Richard graduated from Thornton High School and went on to have a distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry with R.P. Scherer. He married his beloved wife, Martha Tocco, on October 7, 1967, and together they built a life full of love and memories. Richard was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather, and his family meant the world to him.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Graves; his children, William Graves and Tim Graves; and his grandchildren, Connor Graves, Rylee Graves, Lewis Graves, Gabriel Graves, and Abby Graves. Richard is preceded in death by his son, Richy Graves, whose memory he cherished dearly.
A service with military honors will be held at Bay Pines National Cemetery, where Richard will be laid to rest with the honor he deserves.
Richard's legacy of love, commitment, and devotion to his family will be remembered by all who knew him.
