Rita M Bulone age 83 of Largo, Florida passed away October 27, 2014 at Mid Pinellas Hospice in Pinellas Park. She was born in Brooklyn NY and has been a Florida resident since 1974 coming from Westchester PA. She was retired from the Police Department of North Lauderdale Florida where she worked directly with the police chief as his administrative assistant. She was a Roman Catholic and a member of St Jerome Catholic Church in Largo, and of the Martha Mary Guild at St Jerome's. Rita was an avid reader and is best known for being a kind and caring person to her family and friends. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Vincent Bulone, sons Joseph Bulone (Marjorie) and Michael Bulone (Vanessa), sister JoAnn Laudicino (Andrew), and three grandchildren Christopher, Lauren and Isabella. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday Oct 31, 2014 at 10:30 am at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Largo. Interment will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park Garden Mausoleum. Visitation and gathering of friends will take place on Thursday Oct 30th from 4-7 pm at Serenity Funeral Home 13401 Indian Rocks Road in Largo. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society as tribute.
