Robert Alexander Williamson Jr.

WILLIAMSON Jr., Robert A., 69, of Seminole, FL, died May 12, 2010 at Hospice House Woodside, Pinellas Park. Bob was born in Union City NJ and moved to Seminole in 1979 from Washington Township, NJ. Bob was a system protection and control Technician, first with PSE&G, Newark, NJ and then Florida Power/Progress Energy, Clearwater, FL. Bob attended St. Jerome Catholic Church, Largo, was a US Army veteran Vietnam era and when in Alaska was with the 56th Engineering Co., a Ham Radio operator (K2UWM), and was a member of the American Legion and IBEW. Bob was preceded in death by his grandmother, Annie Gibbons and father, Robert A.Williamson, SR. and is survived by his wife Patricia E., son, Robert “Rob” Stanley Williamson, Seminole; daughter, Carol (John) Jean Caruso, Tarpon Springs, FL; mother, Ethel Anna Nordt Williamson, N. Bergen, NJ; sister, Lorrayne (Steve) Papp, Wyomissing, PA and Deborah Jensen, N. Bergen, NJ and granddaughters, Kaylie Marie and twins, Natalie Rae and Sophia Lynn, Tarpon Springs. Viewing hours will be from 1-4 & 6-8 pm Sunday at the funeral home chapel. A funeral mass will be celebrated 11 am Monday at St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin BLvd. Largo, FL 33774. Burial will follow in Serenity Gardens Memorial Park, Largo.
