

Ronald was born March 3, 1937, in St. Louis, MO to parents, Charles and Ada Renz, both deceased. He grew up in St. Louis and attended the University of Missouri, where he met his loving wife of 67 years. They were married on June 7, 1958.
Ronald spent 34 years working for Kimberly-Clark Corporation in sales, marketing, and sales management. His last 10 years with K.C. were as National Sales Manager of industrial division, and he retired in December 1993.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and two children, Randy Renz (Sharon) of Land O Lakes, FL, Kimberly Ham (Jim) of Moreland, GA, and preceded in death by son, Jeffrey Renz. His is also survived by seven grandchildren, Katie (Logan), Megan, Amber (Kyle), Michele (Jack), Austin (Nina), Patrick (Victoria), Evan (Heidi), eight great grandchildren, Landon, Levi, J.B., Elijah, Carter, Weslynn, Colin, and Kennedy, one brother, Allen, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Ron lived his retirement years to the fullest in personal enjoyment of sports, which he loved. He played senior softball for 18 years with 3 Score Softball (60 years up) where he was president and Treasurer and then with the Kids and Kubs (75 years up) where he served as Treasurer. He was a volunteer policeman, patrolling Sand Key beach on an ATV. He also enjoyed many years of golf and tennis. He served on the board of numerous charitable organizations as well as President of two Homeowner Associations. Most recently he was on the Board of Pinellas County Scholarship Fund as treasurer and Lake Seminole Scholarship Fund as V.P. He was deeply involved at Lake Seminole Square in many endeavors. He was also active at Anona UMC for many years, and served as a trustee of the Florida United Methodist Children’s Home. Ron and Carolyn were also fortunate enough to have visited 42 countries around the world.
