I am so sorry for your loss.  Tom was one of my supervisors at the Tampa L&DC.  He always had a great story to share.  I will miss the laughs. Your family will be in my prayers.

My deepest condolences to the Newell family. Tom was a friend to many and respected by all. I will miss the stories and laughs we shared. He was a great steward in Mid Island and helped countless Mail Handlers. Many people not only benefited from his knowledge, but his humor as well. Anyone who had the opportunity to know Tom became a better person having known him. I am grateful for his friendship over the years.

RiP my friend. Your service was  nice. Thanks for the last 9  years of friendship. I'm gonna miss you..till we meet again. Thanks for everything brother..

tom was a great man my condolences to the newell family not only as a shop steward but a great person to talk too .and the good times we had sitting in the union office talking.

I knew Tom from Tampa P&DC. We worked together on discipline actions and I called him "Tommy Gun". He was a great guy.

I am very sorry for the loss of Tom.  Although I never met him, I just watched the video your've created.  I sure wish I had known him.  What a great man he must have been and a great legacy for the grandchildnren.  My heart goes out to you Lauralyn and family.

So sorry for your loss. Tom was a great neighbor. We always enjoyed his stories and talking to him when we walked our dogs. Ron especially liked talking about Harleys with him. We sure will miss him.

"We Love you Man!!", We will miss you so much!! You were our beloved "Uncle Buck", who could brighten up a room with a story and a hearty laugh!!... Tommy was two men in one. He was a strong and tough man on the outside from his tour in the Marines and Coast-Guard, and yet a loving and protective teddy bear on the inside, who loved his family, sisters, nieces and nephews, his Mom, and especially his little God Daughter. He carried on his fathers name with Pride. Our deepest sympathy to Lauralyn, Stefanie & Daniel, and Courtney.

We are so sorry for your loss.  Tommy was a great guy.  We enjoyed working with him at Mid-Island in NY.  The photo tribute is lovely and it looks as though he enjoyed a wonderful life after he moved to Florida.  So Sorry.
