

Raymond Turner Lett was born February 20, 1935 in Excelsior Springs, Missouri to Raymond and Florine Lett. Also in the family was his sister, Phyllis. Turner passed the final phase of his life on July 17, 2025 in Largo, Florida. He is survived by his three children, Diane (Phil) Anderson, Linda Way, Jon (Laura) Lett, stepson Hollie (Maria) Stebbins, seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
In 1958, after graduating from the University of Iowa, he married Norma Doss. Together, with their children, they lived in several places, including Cedar Rapids, IA, Minneapolis, MN, Sioux Falls, SD and Wichita, KS before moving to Raytown, Missouri in 1973.
Turner and Jorene were married in 1979. His transition from corporate life to a privately owned business was achieved with the loving support from Jorene. Together they created and succeeded on the Big Island of Hawaii with a scuba diving center. They relocated in 2001 to Palm Coast, Florida, where they enjoyed living in the Grand Haven community. Jorene preceded Turner in death in December 2015. He moved to Largo, Florida in 2022. He served his country with an honorable discharge from the U. S. Army.
Turner's lifetime goal was to give back all that was extended to him.
