Tyler, we grew up apart but shared similar trauma. Ill never forget the summer i came to largo as a kid. I didnt think id ever have friends at that point. I remember you being the first kid i could talk to about my issues. I remember you being way cooler than me and wishing i could play the guitar as good as you. Tyler, the day we met was the craziest day ever. I was in 6th grade & you were in 7th... a kid in lunch had a seizure & everyone including the teachers & school cop ran away from this child because no one knew what todo..  you held this kid up & made sure he got through his seizure until paramedics showed up. We went to highscool together & grew up to become better friends. You & Will we’re bestfriends & helped him through so much. Even with your own problems you always made sure everyone else was okay. It’s crazy to think your gone, I’m so sorry this happened to you. Rest easy tyler. Your definitely going to be missed! ❤️

Tyler was one of my many good friends i ment him in school on the 7th grade he all ways made sure i was ok mental i cant believe ur gone my brother rest easy my friend 

My heart is broken. Tyler was one of the babies of our grande family. He wore his heart on his sleeve. I remember when he and Nina were babies. I’d come over and babysit them. He was the chunkiest happy baby. Always quick with a smile. Not much changed as he grew. Despite all his loss and pain he endured then carried heavy in his heart. I’m still completely in denial that he’s gone. I can remember holding him tight when his Momma passed……it seems like that wasn’t really that long ago….It’s beautiful to see just how many people love Ty. It doesn’t surprise me either.  I’ll miss you baby cousin. You should be burying us old farts of this family… not this. I’d gladly take your place if I’d been given that chance.  Never this. 

My son Devin Schechter met you at a young age.    You lost your mom. That struck a chord for me. You were at his birthday party, camp, you showed your talent.  A nice young man that through all of your trials have shined through.

I don't think any of us were prepared to lose you so soon. We met early on in life and quickly fell head over heels for eachother. I won't ever forget our silly teenage love antics, sneaking out and walking hours to see eachother, picking flowers along the way. Getting in trouble with BOTH of our families, just being teenagers... Our connection was deep and unbreakable which flowed into our adult years and blossomed as a deep friendship saturated in love and support. Thank you for always being there, for always showing support, for always being such a forgiving and loving person. You will never be forgotten and I truly believe you will always be here with us. Tyler was one of the few people that remained constant in my life, we grew up together. He was an amazing friend to anyone he met. Karaoke nights, jam seshes, he knew how to keep the excitement alive! He was so much fun to be around, just such a genuine person. The world will never be the same without him.

I have known tyler since we were kids man. Going on 18 years and we still had the closest friendship and has always been a great friend to me. A genuine seriously the nicest guy. Tyler, when we met I was hella young and at first you didn't like me. But one night we sat down and actually talked and found out we had alot in common, you became my soul twin. Oh Tyler, The time we shared together was truly perfect dude. We were so young when we met it was after your mother had passed and I never knew why you chose me to be your friend. We used to play all the time as kids then the day came when I went to middle school and there you were. You remember the first thing you said ? CUZZO!!!!!!! From that day on we were cousins. And you protected me like a brother. A lot of my life firsts where with you man and I’ll never forget those memories. From begging Mrs.Benoit for the drum set all the way to taking me to my first metal show. You where a guy who understood life moves forward, after high school we didn’t see each other as much part cause I was moving all over the country. But you always reached out and we always spoke. You got to meet your baby “cuzzo” before I moved to ny and you were so good with her. That’s a moment I wish I got a picture of. I met Tyler when we were in middle school, he used to always come to my house on the weekends like clockwork to play wrestling video games on the ps2.. we grew apart over the years but still kept contact from time to time… I will forever cherish our memories together until we meet again and make more!! ❤️❤️ Love you bud life won’t be the same without you here

I met Tyler when he was just a child at Southwest Rec. He was just two years younger than me, but was always like a brother to me. He was was so full of love, despite the difficult life he had. He was truly a blessing, and had a heart of gold. I love Tyler and he will be missed forever.

I just met him 2 weeks before the tragedy but I’d consider him a long lost brother. He was genuine and loving person. We met at the Niagara tap and we started talking about music and our ambitions of being artists. I knew from the moment I first saw him singing a Korn cover he was rockstar inside and out.  He had the passion and the drive of real rocker... breaks my heart 


My sincerest condolences to Tyler's family.  My heart has been broken by his passing. Tyler was one of the brightest souls that I was lucky to have as friend; we all were. I will always miss your energy. Love you my friend! RIP
