FABRIZIO, Vincent J, 85, of Seminole passed away Saturday, Oct. 12, 2013. On the second-to-last day of his life, his lungs filled with cancer, he harmonized a song with a nurse and his brother. That was Vincent: always full of joy, always enriching the life of others. He was born July 24, 1928 in Manhattan, New York, the son of Italian immigrants, and came to Florida as a teenager. He never missed work in 34 years at Florida Power Co. His favorite saying was, “how wonderful,” his best-known attribute a hearty laugh. He had a deep love for his Catholic faith, spent time in the seminary and sang in various church choirs. Exercise was a lifelong passion. He took long walks and belonged to a gym, where he had many friends and did aerobics into his 80s. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Dorothy Fabrizio; sons Matthew (Sandy) Fabrizio & John Fabrizio; and three grandchildren who adored him: Michael, Jessica & Maria, all of Seminole. Also surviving are brothers Anthony of St. Petersburg, Louis of Seminole and Ronnie (Carol) of Clearwater & sisters Sally Tamburrino of St. Petersburg, Faye Scaglione of Seminole & Madeline Breen of Fort Myers. Memorial Contributions may be offered to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater or St. Jerome Catholic Church, 10895 Hamlin Blvd, Largo. Friends are calling from 4:30 to 8 pm Thursday at Moss Feaster Funeral Home, 13401 Indian Rocks Road, Largo, 727-562-2080. Funeral Services are at 11 am Friday at St Jerome.
