Virginia Houser

Virginia Houser passed away peacefully on Monday, August 29th, 2016 at the age of 96, with her family by her side at The Vineyard Inn ALF. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry. Virginia is survived by her son, Hank (Sandy), daughter Ginger, 3 Grandchildren, Kara (Joe), Kristen (Matt), and Trey (Lucy). She was loved by her 4 great grandchildren, Brandon, Jack, Eva, and Lauren. Virginia was a very loving, caring individual, with a great sense of humor, and was loved by all. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved God, her family, and all of her dear friends at the Vineyard Inn and her many friends in Jacksonville. Fun and laughter were part of Virginia's daily routine. She loved to travel, to drink her "fireball", and really loved Brandon's rum and coke! Many remember her for the dozens of silver bracelets which she always wore, with each bracelet having its own story. We will be celebrating Virginia's life on Monday, September 5th, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at The Vineyard Inn, 10929 Ridge Road, Seminole, FL. She will be interred on Thursday, September 8th @ 11:00 a.m. at Oaklawn Cemetery in Jacksonville, FL, followed by a remembrance service at Southside United Methodist Church at 11:30 a.m. 3120 Hendricks Avenue in Jacksonville.
