DiRuggiero, Vito Sr. 70 of Largo died Monday March 25th at Largo Medical Center. Born Oct.2, 1942 in Newark, New Jersey he was the son of Anthony and Susan Porcile DiRuggiero. Vito graduated from Belleville High School in 1960. He worked in consumer affairs for the State of New Jersey retiring in 1987; he moved to the area in 1989 from Bayville, New Jersey. Vito was a former member of the Italian American Club in New Jersey. He loved to travel and going to the race track. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Diane Razzeca DiRuggiero of Largo, two sons Vito (Andrea) DiRuggiero Jr. of Clearwater and Gerard (Danyell) DiRuggiero of Tampa, daughter Diane (Raymond) Gustavson of Clearwater, brother Anthony DiRuggiero Jr. of Largo, grandchildren Abby, Carson, Ella and Skyler and one granddaughter on the way. A memorial service will be 2:00pm Saturday March 30th at Moss Feaster Funeral Home-Serenity Gardens Chapel-13401 Indian Rocks Rd. Largo, Florida 33774.
