
William "Bill" Childress, 78, of Seminole, Florida, passed away on July 24th, 2023. He was born on November 5th, 1944, in Roanoke, Virginia, to Elizabeth and Raymond Childress. Bill graduated from Jefferson High, where he forged lifelong friendships and a strong educational foundation.
On April 10th, 1981, Bill embarked on a journey of love and companionship as he married Judy Childress. Their enduring bond served as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Bill's professional journey led him to the world of truck driving, where he dedicated himself to his work with unwavering commitment and diligence. Beyond his career, he found joy on the bowling lanes. His passion for bowling brought together friends and family, creating cherished memories that will live on.
Bill's legacy lives on through his wife, Judy; his daughter, Denise C. Coffey; his step-son, Allen Powell; his sister, Rosemary Tolley; his grandchildren, Kelsey Mae Blakenship and Zak Cole; and his great-grandson, Ryder Blakenship. His impact on the lives he touched will be remembered with fondness and gratitude.
